Short, and meant to be read. These terms govern the use of this site and of the free first editions offered through it.
The free editions
First editions are given away in full, at no charge, for personal study and classroom use. They may be read, printed, and set for a course. They may not be resold, or republished as another person's work.
Copyright
The text, the covers, and everything else on this site remain the author's. Giving a book away does not give away the copyright in it.
No legal advice
The books and the updates are teaching material. They state the law as the author understands it at the time of writing and are not advice on any particular matter. Nothing here creates a lawyer-client relationship.
Accuracy
Philippine tax law changes often. Amendments that affect a chapter are posted on the updates page, but no assurance is given that any page is current at the moment you read it.
Email you receive
Giving an email address on this site means receiving the book, notices of amendments, and word of a new edition. You may ask to be removed at any time and it will be done.
