Consulting

I don’t write recommendations. I build the system and hand you the keys.

I help growing businesses turn complex operations into simple, measurable systems — financial visibility, management reporting, processes, controls, SOPs, automation. Not a deck of recommendations. The working reporting pack, the reconciliation, the dashboard, built and handed over with your team trained on it.

I take a small number of engagements at a time.

Growth creates complexity.

A business can be profitable and still be difficult to understand. Processes become dependent on individuals. Spreadsheets multiply. Approvals become unclear. Reporting stops answering the questions management actually needs answered. The owner becomes the system.

We're growing, but I don't know where the money is going.

Our processes exist in people's heads.

We have tons of spreadsheets but no real management information.

I know we're profitable, but I can't tell you exactly where or why.

We're growing faster than our systems can handle.

I build the operating system behind the business.

I look at the business as a whole, understand how the pieces fit together, identify where complexity, cost, risk, and inefficiency have accumulated, and design a simpler way for the company to operate.

01

Diagnose

Understand how the business actually works: where information goes, how money moves, and where decisions get stuck.

02

Simplify

Remove unnecessary steps, duplicate work, unclear responsibilities, and processes that exist only because that is how it has always been done.

03

Systematize

Create SOPs, controls, reporting structures, dashboards, trackers, workflows, and clear ownership.

04

Automate

Use technology and AI where they genuinely improve speed, consistency, visibility, or cost.

05

Transfer

Train the team so the system becomes part of the business rather than another thing dependent on the owner.

Areas of transformation

Five areas, not a catalog of services. Most engagements touch more than one.

Financial visibility

Profitability reporting · Cash flow visibility · Management reporting · Financial controls · Performance measurement

Know where the money is going, and why.

Process and operations

Process redesign · Workflow simplification · SOPs · Responsibility and approval structures · Operational controls

Make work easier to understand and easier to repeat.

Systems and reporting

Dashboards · Trackers · Management information · Data structures · Performance measures

Turn scattered information into something management can actually use.

Automation and AI

Workflow automation · AI-assisted processes · Administrative automation · Data movement · Document and information workflows

Remove repetitive work without adding unnecessary complexity.

Business architecture

Operating model design · Growth readiness · Organizational structure · Management systems · Strategic decision support

Build the infrastructure the business needs for its next stage of growth.

How engagements work

Most begin with the first of these. Each stands on its own.

The Diagnostic

Two to three weeks, fixed fee

A written account of how the business actually operates: where money moves, where information stops, and where decisions queue. It ends with a prioritized list of what to fix and what fixing it would take. Useful on its own, whether or not anything follows.

The Build

Eight to twelve weeks, fixed scope

The systems installed and running. Reporting pack, controls, SOPs, dashboards, automation — built, populated with your real data, and handed over with your team trained on them.

The Standing Seat

Monthly

Ongoing controller-level involvement: the monthly close, the management pack, and the questions that arise between them. For companies that need the function but not the headcount.

What changes

BeforeAfter

Processes live in people's heads

Documented, standardized workflows

Spreadsheets everywhere

Reliable management reporting

The owner approves everything

Defined controls and clear accountability

Repetitive manual work

Automated workflows

Profitability is unclear

Visible, measurable profitability

Growth creates chaos

Systems designed for scale

The goal is not more systems. It is a business that works better.

Better visibility

Management knows what is happening, financially and operationally.

Less unnecessary work

Redundant steps and duplicated effort are removed.

Greater capacity

The company handles more activity without proportionally more administrative overhead.

Better control

Processes are standardized, measurable, and accountable.

Less owner dependence

The company functions without every decision and every piece of knowledge passing through the owner.

Built for businesses in the next stage of growth.

I work best with businesses that have outgrown the way they used to operate. The common factor is organizational condition, not industry.

Growing companies

Roughly 10 to 30 people, where the owner is still deeply involved in everything.

Established companies

Departments and people are in place, but processes have become fragmented, bureaucratic, or inefficient.

Scaling companies

Startups and high-growth companies that need operating systems before complexity compounds.

Business systems require more than process knowledge.

I came to law from finance. I am a certified public accountant with a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor, and a member of the Philippine Bar. Before practicing law, I held senior finance roles for companies in construction, healthcare, and technology. I now combine that financial, legal, tax, governance, and operational experience to build systems that hold up in practice.

A process consultant sees the workflow. I see the workflow, the financial consequence, the control, the reporting implication, and the governance exposure at the same time.

Have a business problem you can’t quite explain?

Start with the problem, not the solution. Tell me what is happening in the business. I will help work out what the real problem is, and whether I am the right person to help fix it.

Consulting engagements are business advisory. They are not legal representation and do not create a lawyer-client relationship.
